Try, try, try again

Ok so I’m gonna try this one more time, the other hundred times I failed. Exercise and me, we have a love/hate relationship. I hate going to the gym but once I get there, I love it. Once I’m there you can’t get me to leave. I will try to hit every machine possible.  Lifting weights, LOVE it…..more than cardio. In high school I was the only girl that took weight training all for 4 years, you would never know that now lol. Did I hyperfocus on weight training in high school probably.  Wish I could hyperfocus on just working out period. I start off strong, everything I do has some type of fitness tied to it. Walk up 18 flights of stairs for work, get home and dance with the kids, go to the gym 3-4 times a week….. as soon as I start to get my sexy back I stop everything that got me to that point. Does my ADHD have any part to do with it – not following thru, being inconsistent. I don’t know. I can’t seem to stay motivated long enough to see excellent results. I do know that exercise helps tremendously with the symptoms of ADHD. Is that enough to keep me going, NO. So here I am again, I will start off slow this time. Make little changes in my eating, drinking and workouts. I started to jump rope, which is sooooo much fun. I do it with the kids, brings out the kid in me.

One thing I am consistent in… being inconsistent!!! 🙂
